Teacher Jan Guianen is thrilled to receive a BEF mini-grant.
More than $700 in mini-grants from the Bethel Education Foundation has been awarded to Meadow View, and all our students will benefit.
A $500 grant will fund an OMSI Science Assembly for the entire school. OMSI presentations are well-known for being exciting shows that often spark students’ interest in science.
In addition, third grade teacher Jan Guianen was awarded a $227 BEF mini-grant. She’ll be able to purchase two class sets of 30 novels each. These will help replenish the books students use during reader’s workshop time.
The Bethel Education Foundation was created by some active Bethel parents last August and has been raising money for Bethel school projects. Go to the BEF website for more information…and YES, they will gladly accept your donation.
