Peter Burrows Chosen As Willamette Principal

Peter Burrows addresses the Willamette staff after being named the sixth principal in the school's 61 year history.

There are big shoes to fill but Peter Burrows has accepted the challenge. Burrows, Willamette’s Assistant Principal, has been selected as the sixth Principal in the school’s history.

Meadow View Earns Spot In State OBOB Tourney

Meadow View's team considers a question during the OBOB regional tournament.

The reading isn’t over for the Meadow View OBOB team.

Competing in the middle school division at the Oregon Battle of the Books Regional tournament, Meadow View beat 30 other teams from Lane, Coos and Douglas Counties to nail down a spot in the state tournament.

Wil-Hi Cheer Team 2nd In State

The Willamette Cheer Team with their OSAA 2nd Place trophy.

Willamette’s Cheer Team has taken home a second place trophy at the 2010 OSAA State Cheerleading Competition.

WHS received high marks for the dance and choreography portions in the 5A Small category, eventually finishing second in the 8-team division.
